Skelly Building
Skellybuildingf123 West 4th Street
Tulsa, OK  74103
Built in 1921
Architect: Bruce Goff
Information Provided by Tulsa Preservation Commission

The Skelly Building was constructed on the corner of 4th Street and Boulder Avenue in 1921. The original six story building was expanded to nine stories in 1928 under plans designed by the nationally renowned architect Bruce Goff. Further changes were made to the building in the 1960s. The Skelly Oil Company maintained its corporate headquarters in the building until the 1960s. The owner of the Skelly Building plans to replace it with a parking lot. Sadly, this has been the fate of a substantial number of important buildings in downtown Tulsa.
