Plot Summary: A contemporary adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Macbeth," taking quite a few outrageous liberties by comically setting the tale in the burgeoning empire of fast food in early 1970s rural Pennsylvania. Maura Tierney and James Le Gros star as the 'McBeths,' a restless, power hungry couple who hatch a plan that will both catapult them out of the dead-end jobs at their local diner Duncans and revolutionize the fast food industry. Academy Award-winner Christopher Walken takes a comic turn as a Columbo-esque detective named McDuff, brought to town to investigate some of the mysterious happenings that have occurred since the McBeths' new-found success. Andy Dick, Amy Smart and Timothy 'Speed' Levitch play three spaced-out hippies who may (or may not) be figments of McBeth's imagination, but are definitely causing him to slowly break down.
