Permanent exhibits include the history of the River and construction and benefits of the McClellan Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, steamboat lore, cargo shipped on the waterway, latest developments, and archaeology. Also a photographic archive, waterway memorabilia, collection of Native American artifacts, and a motorized model of a Lock and Dam. Donations accepted. Call for special appointments or group tours.   Free Admission

Open: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
