Tulsa Area Attractions
Some of the best reasons to live or visit Tulsa

Big Splash Water Park
Big Splash sLocated at 21st and Yale in midtown, this large water park features the largest wave pool in Oklahoma, as well as five water slides, a water roller coaster, a kiddie pool for the little ones, and more. Open seasonally, this place provides the perfect escape from Tulsa's hot summer days. Admission is good for all day, so bring the kids and don't forget the sunscreen!

BOK Center
bok center sm
With its glistening glass sweeping upward like a stroke from a master's brush, downtown Tulsa's BOK Center is an event in itself. Designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli, its sculptural presence will play host to regional shows, major concerts and heart-pounding sports events including home games of the Tulsa Oilers ice hockey team. The center's impressive array of commissioned art, to the tune of $1.35 million, includes work from New York's Joe Andoe, a native Tulsan whose art can be seen in the MOMA and the Met. Ribbon-cutting for this 18,000-seat, regional destination is slated for September, 2008.

Expo Square
Expo Square smFind the 76-foot Golden Driller at the entrance to Tulsa's Expo Square and you've found the venue of over 400 exciting events each year. Expo Square is like a huge campus of Tulsa attractions, home to the Tulsa State Fair, Fair Meadows horse racing, Tulsa Drillers AA Baseball, Big Splash Water Park and one of the finest equine and livestock facilities in the nation. Its Expo Center, one of the world's largest clearspan buildings, offers 350,000 square feet of column-free event space under a cable-suspended roof that lights up the night. But Expo Square's crown jewel is the historic 1932 Pavilion, renowned for its colorful Art Deco architecture. This flexible gem can transform from an ice floor to a basketball court to a concert stage in a matter of hours.

The Oklahoma Aquarium founders, staff, volunteers and supporters believe knowledge is the key to preserving our resources.

River Parks
River Parks smSpread along miles of the Arkansas River, as it flows through Tulsa, River Parks provides some of the metropolitan area's finest outdoor recreation. More than 20 miles of asphalt-surfaced recreation trails weave past picnic areas, playgrounds, fountains and sculptures.
