Oilers Ink Brendan Flemming
August 25, 2003

The Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League announced today that forward Brendan Flemming has agreed to a one-year contract with the team. Flemming comes to the Oilers from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass., where he finished as the school's all-time leading scorer with 75 goals while adding 63 assists.

Flemming led the Chieftains this past season with 23 goals in 23 games and posted 14 assists. He was second on the team with 37 overall points.

"Brendan obviously possesses great offensive skills," said Oilers Head Coach Bruce Garber. "It's our hope that he will be able to make the transition to professional hockey and contribute to our offensive output in the upcoming season."
