Mudbugs and Oilers to Tangle Friday

Friday night at CenturyTel Center, join us for some holiday fun as the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs take on the Tulsa Oilers at 7:05 pm, presented by Christus Schumpert Health Systems. It's our special holiday jersey night and we're also asking you to help us create our own "White Out" conditions at the CTC!
The Mudbugs will be wearing specialty holiday jerseys sponsored by the Good Companies: Villagio, StoneBridge, Le Mode, and Pretty Cosmetics by Faith. This year's holiday jerseys are white with a purple snowflake pattern and feature holly leaves on the shoulders and a Santa hat on the Mudbug on the front of the jersey. Immediately following the contest, the unique, game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off to the fans. These specialty jerseys make the perfect gift for your favorite Mudbugs fan just in time for the holidays!
You can also do your part to help get the Mudbugs going on Friday by dressing in all white for the game as we attempt to "White Out" the Tulsa Oilers. It's a great way to show your Mudbugs spirit and fan unity as the Mudbugs look to go 3-0 against Tulsa this season.
The Mudbugs (13-7-2, 28 points) currently sit just six points behind Oklahoma City in the Northeast Division and are coming home after two weeks on the road to battle the Oilers on Friday night. The Bugs will then be in Tulsa for the second half of this home-and-home series on Saturday night at the BOK Center. Bossier-Shreveport has outscored the Oilers 12-4 in the first two meetings between the teams this season.

One game after his 17-game scoring streak was snapped, Michel Beausoleil scored twice in leading Tulsa to a Central Hockey League victory over Oklahoma City at the Ford Center. It was the Oilers' second consecutive win over the Blazers.
Despite giving up their sixth power play goal in the last seven allowed, the Oilers regrouped to rally for the victory. Jason Lawmaster returned from a one-game suspension to score a short-handed goal, forcing a 1-1 first-period tie.
Jeff Christian added three assists for Tulsa, running his season total to a team-leading 23. The Oilers led 4-1 in the second period, their first three-goal lead in any game this season.
The T-Town Trolley and Tulsa Oilers team together to help the Day Center for the Homeless by launching a one day coat drive on Dec 19.
The T-Town trolley will be stationed at McNellie's at 1st and Elgin from 10 a.m. 1 p.m. and Camille's at 96th and Riverside from 2 5 p.m. and will collect coats for the Day Center. Coats will be presented via trolley at the Oilers' game on Dec. 20. New and gently used coats will be accepted.
