Oilers Trade Stone to Fort Worth
Tulsa Oilers Press Release
January 16, 2003

The Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League have traded goaltender Jason Stone to the Fort Worth Brahmas for future considerations, head coach Garry Unger has announced.

Stone played six games in a Tulsa sweater this season, recording a record of 2-3 with a goal against average of 3.71 and a save percentage of .871. Matt Carmichael will now serve as Tulsa's back up to goaltender Rod Branch.

After losing 4-3 in overtime last night to the Ice in Indianapolis, Tulsa will continue their road trip tomorrow night in Bossier – Shreveport against the Mudbugs. Tulsa (23-12-4) is in a first-place tie with the Oklahoma City Blazers (24-12-2) for first place in the Northwest Division standings. Both teams have totaled 50 points, but Tulsa has played one more game than Oklahoma City.

Tomorrow's game in Bossier – Shreveport begins at 7:05 p.m. and can be heard live on AM 1300 The Score
