Oilers Team Up With Tulsa Public Schools

The Tulsa Oilers have teamed up with Royal Printing & Copy Centers to raise money for Tulsa Public Schools. The Oilers will be having a "Pack the House" night
at their home game on Friday, February 28th against the Wichita Thunder.
Vouchers for that night's game will be available beginning immediately at any Tulsa Public School, the Foundation for Tulsa
Schools (3027 S. New Haven), or Royal Printing (111 W. 5th, Suite L115). For every voucher turned in at the time of the purchase of a regularly priced $10.00 ticket, $4.00 will be donated to Tulsa Public
Schools. The $4.00 contributed for each ticket will be used to meet the Henry Zarrow One Million Dollar Challenge. So, if the challenge is met, then a total of $8.00 per ticket will be donated to the Tulsa
Public Schools. The vouchers can be redeemed only at the Tulsa Convention Center Box Office or the Oilers office at 9128 E. 46th Street. Royal Printing has donated the printing (paper and processing) of over
50,000 vouchers for the cause.
"Our mission is to promote the matching of Mr. Zarrow's One Million Dollar Challenge to assure the quality of education for Tulsa school students – future Tulsans," said
Susie Weinacht, Director of Community Relations for the Tulsa Oilers.
The Oilers are hoping to "Pack the Ice" with TPS principals and other administrators on February 28th. Among the invited guests
are Superintendent David Sawyer, Rachel Maze from the Foundation for Tulsa Schools and Mr. Henry Zarrow, who has issued the One Million Dollar Challenge to the community of Tulsa. One lucky TPS student will
be selected to sing the National Anthem at the game and members from the Junior ROTC will be presenting the colors.
"What better way to spend a Friday evening than enjoying an exciting Oilers game and
providing $8.00 for our students?" said Rachel Maze, the Executive Director of the Foundation for Tulsa Schools.
